Here at Colorado Regional Oral Surgery protecting our patients and our team is of the utmost importance. Here are some of the steps we are taking to ensure your safety.
- Screening
- We will be calling patients prior to appointments to perform screenings
- We will have a screening station at the entrance for both patients and our team
- WHO questionnaire
- Temperature check
- Handwashing/Hand sanitizing
- Social Distancing
- Only one person will be allowed to come in with a patient to an appointment
- Only one doctor and the team will be in the office on any given day to limit the number of people in the office
- We will be practicing social distancing throughout the office
- Operating Protocols
- We will continue to follow strict Universal Precautions which assumes every patient potentially has an infectious disease.
- This requires asepsis and sterilization protocols for all room surfaces, equipment instruments, etc.
- We will stagger which rooms patients are being treated in
- We have also had a special treatment applied to all surfaces in our office called EnviroSheild Endure to help protect our patients
- Proper PPE
- We will be keeping up with CDC and ADA guidelines
- Everyone in our office will be wearing a mask at all times and patients and those coming to patients will be required to wear masks, except during treatment
- Our team will be wearing more PPE than in the past so please be prepared to see us in masks, gowns, and face shields
- Tele-dentistry
- We will be conducting consultations via teledentistry whenever possible
- If imaging is not available, then you may need to come into the office for an image prior to your teledentistry consultation.
