Dr. Reimer was born and raised in Emporia, KS. He received his undergraduate degree from Baker University in Baldwin City, KS. He was then accepted into dental school at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Following dental school, he entered oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the Texas Medical Center with the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. The world’s largest medical center. He then further pursued a fellowship in orthognathic (corrective jaw) surgery and maxillofacial trauma and reconstructive surgery in New Jersey. His clinical interests include treating patients with dentofacial deformities, facial trauma surgery, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) surgery, and treating benign pathology of the head and neck. Dr. Reimer also volunteers with a non-profit called Smile Bangladesh to provide free facial cleft surgeries to underserved areas in rural Bangladesh.
